🎉You lead with your RELATIONAL Self🎉

It is natural for you be in tune with the people around you. You thrive being surrounded by those you love and aren’t afraid to show up authentically with yourself and others. This makes you a magnet that people are attracted to. Others feel valued in your presence and often seek you out because they know they are safe with you. Because of that, others may seek you out to guide, advise or mentor them. When you are having a bad day it’s normal for you to call a friend or look for something to do involving other people.  Being in the presence of others boosts your spirits and puts the wind in your sails.  You naturally give of yourself and find so much joy in serving those you love in ways that are authentic to you.

As a Relational Type,You Are Really Good At:

Building Trust

Creating lasting friendships comes naturally to you. You have such a gift for being around others and allowing others to feel comfortable around you. It's no wonder why you can be around so many different types of people!

Being There for Others

You are someone that your friends and loved ones can count on! You will drop everything and be there for someone you care about in a minute. That makes those who are on the receiving end feel loved and incredibly cared for.

Creating Community

Because you are others-centered, you have a beautiful way of creating community with the people around yourself. You are a great networker and are open to inclusivity and really know what it means to bring others together!

You Are a Multi-Dimensional Human Being!

You might lead with your RELATIONAL self, however, there are a total of 5 components that make up all of you: Physical, Emotional, Mental, Spiritual and Relational. We call this the WHOLE self

You were taught in high demand religion that the only part of you worth anything was your spiritual (eternal) self. Everything else was temporary, deceptive, sinful, and needed to be guarded at all times lest you be deceived by the enemy. This damaging programming trained you to mistrust yourself and disconnect from all these amazing parts of yourself that have SO much wisdom to offer you!

We believe the path to wholeness is to connect with the resources that every part has for you. That means, when you know what your dominant Self Love Type is, you use the strengths of your type to usher in all of the other parts that don't feel as easy.

So, yes, you are GREAT at taking care of your Relational Self, now you can find ways to nurture the Physical, Mental, Emotional, and Spiritual parts of you as well, letting your abillity to connect to others lead the way.

Your potential to tap into the power of relationships is so unique!

Out of all the types, those who lead with the relational self have the knowledge that relationships with others bring so much love and magic into life. You've learned how to tap into the power of connections and there is no doubt how awe-inspiring it is for others. The more you foster healing relationships, the easier it will be for you to stay in utmost health. And not just relationally but emotionally, mentally and spiritually, too! Once you learn how to connect ALL parts of yourself, there is no stopping you!

Relational Types, You'll Want to Watch Out For...

You have a tendency to pour your time and energy into relationships with others, which in return can lead to an anemic relationship with yourself. It's not as easy for you to find comfort within yourself as much as it is for you to look to others for comfort. This is why beginning to create a safe and nurturing home within yourself will be key.  An easy way for you to remember this is to think, “Am I including myself on the list of people I love to spend time with and show compassion to?” You might also want begin to explore how to create clearer boundaries in your life as a means to protect and honor YOU in your relationships.

Self Care Tips for Relational Types:

Mirror Work

When getting ready in the morning, take a minute to pause and REALLY look at yourself in the mirror. Take a deep breath, look into your eyes and say, “I see you and I know what you’re feeling.” This will strengthen your internal connection.

Sacred Connection

Create a special space in your home to retreat to! Decorate the space with special objects like a candle, journal, plants, etc to use while in your sacred place. Everyone time you go into this space use it as a time to nuture YOU by connecting to your thoughts and feelings.

Solo Date Night

To develop a more nurturing relationship with yourself, take yourself out on a “date.” Go somewhere like a museum, the movies, or even go out to dinner. The goal is that you can begin to enjoy your own company like you enjoy the company of others.

Get Needy

Start getting curious about your needs. What are YOU longing for? What do YOU need in your relationships? Start making a list and see what comes up. This is a way to receive what you so freely give. Let others show up for you in new and creative ways.
